The Signature Mission Work Desk is more than just another piece of furniture, its built like a ship. Mortise and tenon construction methods are used but its nothing ordinary. The post and rail joints have actual through tenons, the little tenon on front is not a plant-on, it is really part of the side rail. These through tenons provide a large glue surface resulting in a strong and sturdy joint that will last for years. The Signature Mission Work Desk continuously our most popular piece of furniture—is a prime example of long life. Signature Mission, plain and simple yet uniquely constructed, is built to endure the test of time.

CARE OF SOLID WOOD FURNITURE
- Place your furniture away from radiators, fireplaces, and heating ducts.
- Position furniture out of direct sunlight or adjust blinds to avoid hour after hour of direct sunlight.
- Control humidity to 40%–45%. In winter use a humidifier, in summer use a dehumidifier or air conditioner.
- Avoid using nail polish remover, alcohol, and other solvents near or on furniture.
- Dust carefully with a soft cloth, following the grain pattern of the wood. Use an old T-shirt, baby diaper or cheesecloth that has been laundered to remove the sizing.
ROUTINE CLEANING AND CARE
- Dust often to remove everyday abrasive particles from wood surfaces.
- Consider cleaning with a mild non-alkaline soap and water. Use the suds in a damp sponge or cloth, but be sure to pre-test the solution on an out-of-sight section to make sure it doesn’t damage the finish. Dry immediately with a soft cloth and buff lightly, following the grain.
- Don't wax or use any polish that contains any silicones! Catalyzed heat and moisture resistant finishes don’t need additional polish, but if you want to use a polish we recommend Parker & Bailey's Furniture Cleaner.

The keyboard tray is has a front panel that flips down. Behind the panel is the keyboard tray that pulls out. It is a flat tray that pulls out for a keyboard to rest on.
It looks like there are either three drawers or two drawers and a keyboard tray, can you clarify and provide drawer dimensions and if they include full extension hardware and what type of construction is used for the drawers (dovetail or something else)?
If purchased can the desk be picked up from your store to avoid shipping charges?

There are a few options for drawers that you can choose. The Signature Mission Work Desk comes standard with 1-20" drawer in the center but has options for a center keyboard tray or keyboard tray with 2 side drawers (what is shown). You can find these options under Options then Drawer Setup.
All of our Amish builders use full extension glides (unless specified otherwise) with a dovetail construction in the front and back. We are unable to provide the interior dimensions of the drawers due to the holiday season with most of our Amish builders being gone. You are able to pick up from our showroom at no extra charge. If the option is unavailable on the website when checking out, feel free to call our showroom to start an order and mention you would like to pick up.
