Crystal Valley Hardwoods specializes in furniture made from quarter sawn white oak. Quarter sawn is a special way of cutting the wood to expose the grain in a different way. Quarter sawn oak is dense and doesn’t shrink or contract as much as regular oak or cherry. It also resists denting better than other woods.
