To provide an accurate shipping quote, we’ll need details about your order and your zip code. All furniture is shipped blanket-wrapped for protection. Once your order is on its way, the carrier will contact you with delivery information and what to expect upon arrival. Once the carrier has possession of your order is when any remaining balance will be charged. Below are the available delivery options for your furniture:

  • Curbside Delivery: Which means you bring it into the house or apartment and set it up. The driver will help you get the furniture off of the truck.
  • In-house delivery: With this type of delivery the furniture is brought into your house or apartment and removes whatever packaging materials were used. Set up may not be available for your items.

Furniture Guarantee

We guarantee our furniture against defects in workmanship and craftsmanship for one year from the delivery date. This warranty does not cover normal wear or accidental damage. If an issue related to craftsmanship arises within the first year, the Amish builder will repair or replace the item at no cost. Shipping charges to and from the builder are covered by AmishDirectFurniture.com within the first 30 days of delivery. After 30 days, shipping costs become the customer’s responsibility. In the event of accidental damage after delivery, repairs can be arranged at a reasonable rate. While shipping in these cases is also the customer’s responsibility, we’re happy to assist with coordination whenever possible.

Furniture may be returned within 30 days of delivery. A refund will be issued for the purchase price, less a 35% restocking fee and the original shipping cost. In cases where an item was damaged in transit or ordered incorrectly through no fault of your own, these fees will be waived. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

Returns are not accepted for highly customized pieces that significantly differ from our standard designs or for items we do not typically produce. If you're unhappy with the appearance of your piece, returns are considered on a case-by-case basis. However, variations in wood grain, texture, or natural characteristics will not be accepted as valid reasons for return.

If your furniture is damaged during shipping, the carrier will cover all costs for repair or replacement, including related shipping fees—provided the following guidelines are met:

  • The company is called immediately when damage to the packaging materials is present.
  • The damage is documented (clearly written) on the bill of lading before signing it.

Be sure to photograph all visible damage to the packaging and the furniture itself. Do not, under any circumstances, sign the bill of lading before thoroughly inspecting the furniture. Insist that the driver wait while you complete this inspection. You've made a significant investment, and we want to ensure your furniture arrives in perfect condition. The shipping company assumes full responsibility for the furniture once it is in their possession, and we will work with them to coordinate repairs or replacements if necessary.

Amish Direct Furniture is not liable if a piece cannot fit into your home, regardless of the delivery method selected. Be sure to measure all entryways and plan accordingly. Delivery personnel are not responsible for disassembling furniture to facilitate entry into your home. Amish furniture is generally shipped fully assembled and should be anticipated to be delivered as such.
