    Abrasion Rating

    Abrasion Test Results

Double rubs serve as a metric for evaluating the abrasion resistance and endurance of a fabric. Each back and forth motion is considered one double rub. This test simulates the daily "wear and tear" a fabric undergoes. Generally, the double rub count of a fabric is an excellent indicator of its suitable uses and applications, but it's essential to inquire about the particular task at hand and provide recommendations based on that.

    (M) Medium: 9,000 - 12,000 Double Rubs

    (H) Heavy: 15,000+ Double Rubs

    *Heartland Performance Fabric

    Crypon Fabrics and more...

Modern technology meets comfort and sophistication with Crypton Home fabric. Soft, durable and stain-resistant, Crypton Home fabric is available in a wide array of textures and vibrant colors. And Crypton’s breakthrough protection is woven into every fiber so it won’t ever wear away. Crypton, where beauty meets durability.

    Performance Fabric Cleaning Instructions

One less thing to worry about!

Crypton Home fabric is super easy to clean, but it is not self-cleaning. Most liquid spills will simply blot off the surface with a dry towel. And for more difficult stains, just follow these simple spot-cleaning instructions:

    • Wipe away excess mess using a clean, dry towel
    • Mix a simple soap and water solution*
    • Apply and agitate with a soft-bristle brush
    • Blot with a clean towel
    • Rinse thoroughly, and repeat if necessary

*We recommend mixing 1 tsp. enzyme laundry detergent, like Tide® or Cheer®, with 2 cups warm water. And remember, soap attracts dirt, so rinse thoroughly.

    *Heartland Revolution Fabric

Spills like ketchup, mustard, and grease come clean with a little soap and water. For tougher spills like permanent marker, don't worry! Our fabrics are 100% bleach cleanable... even dark colors.

    Revolution Fabric Cleaning Instructions

One less thing to worry about!

    • Remove any loose debris and blot stain.
    • Blot or spray water and bleach solution on the stain and allow the solution to soak into the fabric (if possible, place a clean towel between the fabric and foam cushion to absorb any excess moisture).
    • Thoroughly rinse fabric with water until clean.
    • Let fabric air dry.

What products do you recommend for cleaning? Are there any products that I shouldn't use to clean Revolution?

Most any general house cleaner will work, as most are NOT solvent based. Some of the more popular cleaners are Lysol, OxiClean or Dawn dish detergent. Revolution is also bleach cleanable (the fabric will NOT discolor, even dark colors). When using any cleaner, we recommend using 1 ounce of bleach or cleaner to 32 ounces of water and using a spray bottle to thoroughly clean the stain (reference question #1 for greater detail). Don’t use any type of dry cleaning solvent and do not apply any type of after-market fabric protector. A good clue to determine if a product is solvent based is if it is flammable. Any product that is flammable and/or solvent based, we do NOT recommend using to clean Revolution.

    *Heartland Genuine Leather

Genuine top-grain leather. Top-grain leather means leather that has been made from the top or outermost layer of cowhide.

    Genuine Leather Cleaning Instructions

Gently brush dirt and dust from the leather using a soft brush. Dip a clean, white rag in warm water. Wring out excess water. Rub the rag on a bar of saddle soap. Work up a light, sudsy leather. Scrub the surface of the leather with a light touch. Work in small sections. Rinse immediately after each section with clean, warm water. Rinse the rag completely between each section, switching to a new rag if it becomes soiled. Dirty water or suds can cause leather to stain. Once the leather is 7/8ths dry, use a clean, white rag to apply a light coat of leather conditioner.

Warranty on Barstools

General:

We provide 1 year craftsman warranty on all styles. Chairs beyond 1 year will be evaluated and charged accordingly. We are not responsible for any shipping charges related to returns.

Weight Limit:

We suggest a weight limit of 250 lbs on all our bar stools. We are not responsible for any accidents that may occur.

Bar Stool Heights

Bar stools are made in two different heights because they are made for counters or bars. Most standard counters are 36″ high from the floor to the top of them. For these types of counters you will want a 24″ high bar stool to allow enough room for your legs and to have it feel like your almost sitting at a normal table.

Bar are typically 42″ high making them 6 inches taller than standard counters. Due to this height difference you want your bar stool to fit accordingly which is why you need a 30″ high bar stool.

    CARE OF SOLID WOOD FURNITURE

    • Place your furniture away from radiators, fireplaces, and heating ducts.
    • Position furniture out of direct sunlight or adjust blinds to avoid hour after hour of direct sunlight.
    • Control humidity to 40%–45%. In winter use a humidifier, in summer use a dehumidifier or air conditioner.
    • Avoid using nail polish remover, alcohol, and other solvents near or on furniture.
    • Dust carefully with a soft cloth, following the grain pattern of the wood. Use an old T-shirt, baby diaper or cheesecloth that has been laundered to remove the sizing.

    ROUTINE CLEANING AND CARE

    • Dust often to remove everyday abrasive particles from wood surfaces.
    • Consider cleaning with a mild non-alkaline soap and water. Use the suds in a damp sponge or cloth, but be sure to pre-test the solution on an out-of-sight section to make sure it doesn’t damage the finish. Dry immediately with a soft cloth and buff lightly, following the grain.
    • Don't wax or use any polish that contains any silicones! Catalyzed heat and moisture resistant finishes don’t need additional polish, but if you want to use a polish we recommend Parker & Bailey's Furniture Cleaner.
