The post and rail joints have actual through tenons, the little tenon on front is not a plant-on, it is really part of the side rail. These through tenons provide a large glue surface resulting in a strong and sturdy joint that will last for years. The Signature Mission Lateral File Cabinet is made out of solid oak. The backside is made out of plywood for cost sake but can be made out of solid wood at an extra charge. We offer 2 different types of shipping: curbside and white glove. You can find out shipping costs by choosing out your options, adding it to your cart, and then selecting Calculate Shipping to figure out your costs. It comes fully assembled.

There is not a hutch for this file cabinet. Unless the builder is contacted we are unsure if one could be built.

We provide complimentary stain boards if you place an order. Under the "Stains (Colors)" section your first option is to request stain samples. Type in the stains you would like to see and when you place your order we will have them mailed out to you. We do also offer stain boards for order. There you can pick and choose which stains on different woods you would like to see. We do provide credit towards an order if you mail them back (this does not include the mailing of them; stain board cost only).
